.Job Title – Commercial Contracts Manager
 
Their Purpose – A growing business specialising within commercial solar pv installations across the UK from small sizes up to utility scale multi-megawatts. Providing a full turnkey solution including maintenance and optimisation, consulting and energy storage batteries on a large scale they are rapidly growing with a turnover of £5m.
 
Location &, flexibility – Office based, South West
 
Salary & Benefits – Up to £55k, Car allowance, 28 days holiday + 3 extra Christmas days, Private healthcare, Career Progression
 
About the Job –
As commercial Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing and negotiating commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigating risks associated with solar PV projects. This role requires a strong understanding of contract law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contract, partnership agreements and project specific contracts.
  • Responsible for ensuring all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards whilst also developing and implementing company policies and CRM systems.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate contractual risks to protect the company’ interests and develop and implement risk management strategies and practices.
  • You’ll be working closely with sales, project management, legal, finance and other internal teams to ensure contract terms align with business objectives as well as liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and other external parties to negotiate favourable terms and resolve contractual disputes.
About you -
  • Strong experience within contract management preferably within the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, PPA, Capex etc.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts.
  • A team player with the ability to work within a fast paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence
