Job Title – Solar Project Manager – Utility Scale

Their Purpose – A leading renewable energy developer specializing in utility scale solar projects. They are dedicated to driving the transition to clean energy by developing, constructing and managing large-scale solar projects that contribute to a sustainable future with their projects spanning across California, Texas, Arizona and Nevada.

Location & Flexibility – California – Hybrid/Remote

About the Job:
As project manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development, engineering, procurement and construction of large-scale solar projects. You will have a strong background in project management within the renewable energy sectors, with a focus on solar power generation.  
 
  • You’ll be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of utility-scale projects from development through construction and commissioning.  
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful completion within scope, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Co-ordinate with internal teams, including engineering, permitting, procurement, construction and finance to facilitate project success.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, landowners, regulatory agencies, contractors and local communities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local regulations.

About You:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar projects, with a proven track reord of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of California's renewable energy policies, permitting processes and utility interconnection requirements.
  • Experience managing EPC contract and working with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel when needed.
