About the Job:
As the Head of Renewables, you will be responsible driving the growth of their renewable energy division, focusing on solar panel installations, battery storage solutions, and EV car charging infrastructure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and proven sales experience. You will be responsible for spearheading business development, conducting detailed site surveys, overseeing installation planning and collaborating with internal teams to deliver successful projects.
- You will be responsible for leading and developing the renewable energy division, expanding the company’s service offering in solar, battery storage and EV charging systems.
- Conduct detailed site surveys for potential solar, battery storage and EV charge installations across residential, commercial and industrial locations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, leveraging existing contacts and generating new leads.
- Support the team in bid proposals, contract negotiations and other client facing responsibilities as needed.
- Proven hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry with a focus on solar, battery storage and EV charging infrastructure.
- Technical knowledge and hands on experience with conducting site surveys and interpreting technical documentation such as architectural drawings and electrical schematics.
- Sales experience with a proven ability to close deals and grow revenue within the renewable energy sector.
- Experience with MCS and certified renewable qualifications. (18TH edition, BPEC solar)
- Full UK driving licence.
