Job Title –  Heat Pump Service & Installation Engineer
 
Their Purpose –  A fast growing company looking to lead the way in the renewable energy revolution, specifically for homeowners and new build developers by delivering eco-friendly solutions which include solar and heat pumps.

 
Location & flexibility – Field based, Dorset 7:30am – 4:30am with overtime opportunities.


Salary & Benefits – Salary up to £45k + paid door-to-door travel, company van, overtime paid at time-and-a-half (double time on Sundays).
 
About the Job:


An exciting opportunity to join a growing team as a skilled Heat Pump Service and Installation Engineer. This role involves the installation, servicing and maintenance of air source and ground source heat pump systems. You will predominately be field based in the Dorset area with the requirement to visit office each Monday for team meetings.
 
  • You will be responsible for carrying our installations of air source and ground source heat pump systems, including pipework, controls, and electrical connections whilst ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and best practices.
  • You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in heat pump systems as well as performing routine servicing and preventive maintenance to maximise efficiency and lifespan.
  • You’ll be customer service focused and experience with explaining functions and answering queries as well as providing guidance on the care and use of heat pump systems.
  • You’ll collaborate with the office team to plan and execute daily tasks and keep accurate records of completed work and follow ups.

About you:
  • Proven experience in heat pump installation, servicing and maintenance (air source and/or ground source).
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in plumbing and Heating (Or equivalent qualification)
  • F-Gas Certification.
  • Electrical qualifications (E.g. Part P, 18th Edition wiring regulations)
  • Knowledge of MCS standard and renewable energy technologies.
  • A Full & Clean, UK Driving License
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must have a clean record with no unspent or ongoing criminal convictions
