About the Job:
An exciting opportunity to join a growing team as a lead installer where you will be responsible for leading solar PV installation with the opportunity to progress your career within a growing Solar PV company.
- Lead and direct general installation duties including setting out and fixing mounting systems, fixing panels, stringing, crimping, MC4s and running DC cable. Installing roof penetration, DC testing, fault finding and rectification.
- Liasing with the project managers and head of technical delivery to lead your installation team.
- Lead and ensure safety protocols are maintained whilst leading the set up and clean-up of work areas.
About you:
- Previous experience in a solar PV installation role is essential.
- Familiarity with a wide range of brands and types of panels, mountings, roofs and inverters
- Experienced with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience of leading a team as well as strong knowledge of health and safety protocols.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods of time.
