Job Title –  Retrofit Assessor
 
Their Purpose – A dedicated and leading retrofit energy installer committed to providing a solution to reduce carbon footprint. Installing a range of energy saving measures into residential homes through the ECO and GBIS schemes.
 
Location &, flexibility – South Wales, Field based.
 
Salary & Benefits – Up to £40k, Company Van with personal use included, Fuelcard, performance related incentives, CPD training and paid with career development opportunities.
 
About the Job –
As retrofit assessor, you will play a crucial role in their mission to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. You’ll be responsible for assessing existing residential buildings, identifying opportunities for retrofitting and providing recommendations for energy – efficient improvements. Your work will contribute to making buildings more sustainable and reducing energy consumption.

  • Conduct on-site assessments of residential buildings in Wales to evaluate their current energy efficiency and environmental performance.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to measure and analyse building performance, including insulation, heating and cooling systems, lighting, and energy consumption.
  • Collect and analyse data to identify areas where energy efficiency improvements and retrofit measures can be implemented.
  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations to property owners, including potential energy savings for each recommended retrofit project.
  • Collaborate with property owners, contractors, and other stakeholders to create tailored retrofit plans that align with the goals of reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and government incentives related to energy efficiency and retrofitting.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments and retrofit projects, including project progress and outcomes.

About you -
  • Existing experience within a retrofit assessor role
  • Trained to DEA level and hold a current accreditation.
  • Must be a qualified retrofit assessor and hold an accreditation.
  • Full driving licence.
