About the Job:
As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the specification, planning, and growth of new products and solutions in the Energy Storage market. Your role will involve forming and nurturing relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the business’s ongoing expansion and success.
- Collect and understand customer needs, market trends, and leadership input to align product strategy and roadmap in the Energy Storage segment.
- Identify opportunities, prepare proposals for RFPs, manage budgeting and pricing, and negotiate contract terms.
- Engage early adopter customers to test and launch new energy storage products and solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and business plans for product improvement, development, and new service offerings.
- Collaborate with internal development teams or external suppliers to ensure consistency in product expectations and schedules.
- Work with the marketing and sales teams to manage the product launch process.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Energy Storage, Wind, or Solar industry.
- Proven track record in business development and sales.
- Strong decision-making abilities, particularly regarding product guidelines and completion.
- Experience in budgeting, financial reports, and product expenditure management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a “can-do” attitude, competitive, and driven.
- Strong critical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills.
- Excellent organizational, strategic planning, and implementation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required (50-60%).
