Location &, flexibility – Site based, Nationwide travel with occasional visits to Head office
Salary & Benefits – £65k - £75k DOE, lease vehicle/car allowance, accommodation when needed.
About the Job:
You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the construction of utility-scale solar projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of solar project construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
- Responsible for leading the planning, execution and completion of utility -scale solar projects. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost effective project delivery.
- Oversee the quality control process, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with design specification, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce comprehensive health and safety plans, ensuring all construction activities comply with regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, clients, contractors and other stakeholders, providing regular project updates and address any concerns or issues that arise.
About you:
- Strong background of managing construction of utility scale solar projects from inception through to completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV, electrical systems and civil construction.
- CSCS /SMSTS
- Full UK Driving licence & willingness to travel nationwide
