About the Job:
As a specialised solar installer, you will specialise in delivering large scale commercial solar projects, for both roof top and ground mount environments, across the country. You will be joining a growing team, were you will be responsible for the solar installation maintenance and occasional maintenance of commercial solar projects ranging in size – up to 40MW.
Key responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the installation and commission of solar PV systems (commercial), varied in project sizes nationwide.
- Your role will also include ensuring that the installations are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with the relevant industry standards and regulations.
- This position will also require you to coordinate with project managers, electricians and other members of the installation team to complete projects to high standard, on time.
- You will be required to adhere to the relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- You must be willing to travel to various sites across the county, with the potential for overnight stays.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in commercial PV installations.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation, 18th edition qualified electrician
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate well with our customers and colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards - SMSTS certification, IOSH, NEBOSH
- Installation and testing (2391) advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
