Job Title – Solar Site Supervisor    
 
Their Purpose – A Rapidly growing business who specialise in providing high quality commercial solar energy systems across a range of business sectors for 50kw and above. They are financially backed by their parent company who is a FTSE 100 international support services group who leads in the sphere of energy transition.
 
Location &, flexibility – Site based, Nationwide travel.

Salary & Benefits – Up to £50k DOE, company vehicle/car allowance, accommodation when needed.  
 
About the Job:

As a solar site supervisor, you will oversee the day-today operations and management of solar power installation projects. This role involves ensuring that the installation process is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will manage the onsite team, coordinate with contractor and report on progress to senior management.
 
  • You will be responsible for supervising and managing solar installation projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily tasks for site workers, subcontractors and vendors.
  • You will be responsible for leading and motivating the on-site team, providing guidance, mentorship and technical support as well as assign and delegate tasks to crew members based on skill level and project needs.
  • Responsible for monitoring the installation process to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards whilst inspecting work for compliance with safety codes, regulations and project plans.

About you:
 
  • Proven experience in solar site manager or construction supervision.
  • Strong understanding of solar, electrical installations and mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with local, state and national building and electrical codes related to solar installation.
  • Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and manage large teams.
  • CSCS /SSSTS
  • Full UK Driving licence & willingness to travel nationwide
